Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Partnerships

Being a socially responsible firm is a key objective of Calahan Solutions, Inc. Bottom line, we want to help people.  Our business is built on relationships -- with our clients, consultants, and communities. So, naturally, we have a special interest in helping people in the communities we serve -- especially those who are financially disadvantaged. We believe that our corporate social responsibility should be about addressing issues directly.

Thought Leadership

Our executive leadership team and consultants demonstrate their commitment to providing thought leadership on the latest trends and issues by serving on various boards.

In-Kind Donation and Services

We partner with many organizations by offering our subject matter expertise pro-bono to help provide services they may not otherwise be able to afford, such as time management studies, space allocation strategies, clutter reduction strategies, moving consultations, etc.

Quantum Leap Task Force

The Quantum Leap Task Force is a service project of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). It provides organizing training to people who are welfare-vulnerable or in a welfare-to-work transition. Made up of volunteer professional organizers, the task force members work through local agencies and offer skill-building sessions on paper, time and money management.

Sweat Equity

An important objective of our social responsibility standards is to support our consultants' participation in their communities.  Participation is entirely voluntary, and our associates enjoy supporting the community.  Calahan Solutions encourages community involvement through providing bonuses to those individuals that volunteer their time and effort.

Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

CASA - Court Appointed Special AdvocateIn the United States, over one half million children are in foster care because they cannot safely live with their families. CASA volunteers work to ensure that these children do not suffer further abuse due to the overburdened court system or at home. CASA volunteers are advocates for children in the courts, the schools, and in government agencies until they are placed with a safe, permanent, and nurturing family. www.nationalcasa.org
